Faculty Publishes Q1 Research on AI-Driven Thermal Engineering Optimization

Faculty Publishes Q1 Research on AI-Driven Thermal Engineering Optimization

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai is pleased to announce that Dr. Sampath Suranjan, along with faculty collaborators from MIT Manipal, has co-authored a research paper published in Applied Thermal Engineering, a highly ranked Quartile 1 (Q1) journal.

    The paper, titled
“Data-driven prediction and optimization of performance parameters in rotary wick humidifiers using ANN models,”
presents an advanced, AI-enabled approach to predicting and optimizing the performance of rotary wick humidifiers. By applying Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models, the study demonstrates how data-driven techniques can significantly improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making in thermal engineering and HVAC system design.

This publication highlights MAHE Dubai’s continued focus on impactful, industry-relevant research and its strong collaborative ties with MIT Manipal.

The paper can be accessed via the following DOI link:
