MAHE Dubai Faculty Publish Q1 Research on Advanced Composite Materials in Collaboration with MIT Manipal

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai is delighted to announce that Prof. Suresha and Dr. Sachidananda from the School of Engineering & IT, along with their co-authors from India, have published a significant research paper in RSC Advances (Royal Society of Chemistry) — a prestigious Scopus Q1 journal.

    The paper, titled
“Structural properties and electromagnetic shielding performance of bidirectional carbon fabric and Fe₂O₃ nano filler reinforced epoxy composites,”
presents an in-depth investigation into composite materials engineered for electromagnetic shielding applications. The study explores how carbon fabrics and iron oxide nano fillers can be leveraged to develop high-performance epoxy composites with enhanced structural and shielding capabilities.

This publication represents a noteworthy collaborative effort between MIT Manipal and MAHE Dubai, and forms part of Prof. Suresha’s ongoing Ph.D. research, reflecting the institution’s commitment to cross-campus research excellence and innovation in advanced materials.
