    New Chair for the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS)

    Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Praveen Gupta, Chairperson of the Manipal Business School, as the new Chair for the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS). His appointment is effective immediately, and he will continue to serve in his existing capacity while taking on this additional leadership responsibility.

    The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies plays a vital role in fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, encouraging innovative thinking, and driving academic integration across schools at MAHE Dubai. With his extensive academic experience, strategic approach, and commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Gupta is well positioned to lead the centre into its next phase of growth.

    MAHE Dubai also confirms that Dr. Sophia Rahaman, Faculty – School of Engineering & Information Technology (SOEIT), will continue in her role as the Coordinator for CIS, supporting academic initiatives, inter-school projects, and operational planning.
