Research spotlight – Dr. Rajesh Chandrawat’s Q2 publication on multiphase flows

Research spotlight – Dr. Rajesh Chandrawat’s Q2 publication on multiphase flows

MAHE Dubai congratulates Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandrawat (School of Engineering & IT) on the publication of a peer-reviewed research article titled:

“Fuzzy Pressure Gradient Effects on Immiscible Nanofluid–Dusty Fluid Systems: A Radial Basis Function Pseudo-Spectral Approach.”

The study appears in Multiscale and Multidisciplinary Modeling, Experiments and Design (Scopus Q2). It investigates how pressure-gradient uncertainties influence transport behavior in immiscible nanofluid–dusty fluid systems, using a radial basis function (RBF) pseudo-spectral numerical framework combined with fuzzy modeling to better capture complex, real-world conditions.

    Why this matters?

More realistic modeling - Fuzzy treatment of pressure gradients helps handle uncertainty in engineering flows.

Advanced numerics - RBF pseudo-spectral methods improve accuracy and efficiency for coupled multiphase problems.

Potential applications - Insights can support design/optimization in thermal management, process engineering, and microfluidic devices.
